Entrance to the Port of Honfleur, after Claude Monet, 1840–1926 Watercolor by Warren E. Saul (1978) To me, my father seemed to have a bit of a connection, a kinship, with Monet. Perhaps it was their technical skill, perhaps it was the way they saw things. Either way, this quick homage captures the original quite well.
