Brushes: Tools of the Artist's Trade Ink Sketches by Warren E. Saul (1980) This may be more than you want to know about selecting and purchasing artist's brushes. A former signpainter during the late depression years, my father never lost his rigorous standards for the tools of the trade. The notation "right handed" is a reminder that he was a lefty. He actively practiced ambidextrousness.
