How to Get More Information at Little or No Cost

How to Find Info
Home

The easiest way to find clinical nutrition articles is to search the internet. Both Google and Google Scholar do a good job, although you need to avoid the ads, or so-called "sponsored links." Research papers have been posted at many natural health-related websites. You can try emailing the website and ask for assistance. Most will be glad to point you in the right direction. On my LINKS page there are a number of web options for you to consider taking a look at.

The next-easiest way is to simply telephone your public library. Ask for assistance. Give the librarian as much information as you can: title, author, or whatever you have to work with. If you need a journal paper, you can ask them to have the paper photocopied right at any library where it is held. If you offer to pay for the copying and the postage, this usually works best, saves you a lot of effort, and is economical. Have them mail the copies directly to you. It may grease the wheels a bit if you tell the librarian that you need the paper for serious research. I have found librarians to be extremely helpful, with only the rarest of exceptions. If by chance you are connected with an unsympathetic librarian, just call a different library.

If you are looking for a book, interlibrary loan will work even easier. Expect to pay for postage if the book is coming in from outside your local library system. Libraries (as well as all bookstores) can find virtually anything in print.
